Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu arrives on DVD, Blu-ray and 4K Ultra HD this September, giving fans the chance to own the blockbuster adventure before it’s expected to stream on Disney+ later this year.

After making the leap from Disney+ to cinemas, Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu is heading home, with Lucasfilm confirming a packed physical release featuring standard DVD, Blu-ray, 4K Ultra HD and collectible SteelBook editions.
The film reunites Pedro Pascal’s Din Djarin and Grogu for their biggest adventure yet, as the pair travel to unexplored corners of the galaxy, battle Imperial warlords and encounter spectacular new creatures, high-speed dogfights and plenty of classic Star Wars action. The cast also welcomes franchise newcomers Sigourney Weaver and Jeremy Allen White.
If you don’t want to wait for the disc release, the film is already available to buy or rent on major digital platforms. For Disney+ subscribers, it’s widely expected to join the streaming service before Christmas, although Lucasfilm has yet to confirm an official streaming date.
Collectors have plenty to look forward to, too. Alongside the standard editions, fans can pick up a limited SteelBook or the premium Beskar Collector’s Edition, which includes exclusive packaging and two ICONART metal art prints.
The 4K Ultra HD and Blu-ray editions also come loaded with exclusive extras, including featurettes exploring the film’s visual effects, creature creation, practical sets and world-building, plus a full-length audio commentary from director Jon Favreau.
