Tom Holland Swaps Web-Slinging for ‘Superworm’ in New CBeebies Bedtime Story Ahead of Spider-Man: Brand New Day
British actor Tom Holland is trading the streets of New York City for the garden patch as he becomes the latest superhero to take on reading duties for CBeebies Bedtime Stories.
Ahead of his return to the big screen later this month in the highly anticipated Marvel Cinematic Universe entry, Spider-Man: Brand New Day, Holland will entertain young viewers and family audiences with a reading of the beloved children’s classic Superworm, written by Julia Donaldson and illustrated by Axel Scheffler.
What is Tom Holland’s CBeebies Bedtime Story About?
In his Bedtime Story appearance, Holland reads the story of Superworm—a long, strong, and heroically super-stretchy worm who comes to the rescue of garden bugs in need. However, when the greedy Wizard Lizard puts Superworm under a wicked spell, his insect friends must band together to save him.
Holland follows in the footsteps of several fellow MCU stars who have previously taken to the famous CBeebies armchair, including Chris Evans, Idris Elba, Tom Hardy, Chris Hemsworth, Tom Hiddleston, and Jason Momoa.
