Tonight, Bernie’s relentless optimism begins to grate on Kit as she waits for her own test results. Kit finds it increasingly difficult to listen to her positive outlook while hiding the truth about his own health.

Elsewhere, Carl offers his services to Steve after overhearing him complain about the man currently working the switch. Glenda hosts a pub quiz for Debbie, while Maggie disapproves of Susie’s online presence.

Clickbait Clinic with Stacey Dooley – BBC One, 8.30pm

If you’re looking for something very different, Clickbait Clinic with Stacey Dooley launches on BBC One at 8.30pm.

The new series sees Stacey investigate health claims and trends that have spread across social media, separating genuine health information from online misinformation.

In the opening episode, Stacey travels to Miami to witness an extreme surgical procedure in which people’s legs are broken in an attempt to make them six inches taller.

She then returns to the UK to investigate a laundry powder that sparked an international outcry after claims circulated on TikTok that drinking it could cure joint pain.

The episode is part of a six-part series and is also available through BBC iPlayer.

The Blame – ITV1, 9pm

For viewers wanting a crime drama, The Blame continues on ITV1 at 9pm.

Starring Michelle Keegan and Douglas Booth, the new thriller follows detectives investigating a case which raises difficult questions about the police and the justice system.

In tonight’s second episode, Emma’s discovery of shocking video evidence leads to an unexpected breakthrough in the case.

She then faces a dramatic decision when she has no choice but to arrest a fellow police officer.

Geordie Coppers – Channel 4, 10pm

Channel 4 heads to Newcastle for Geordie Coppers, following the work of the city’s neighbourhood police officers.

Tonight, Sgt Craig is far from amused by the arrival of online adult star Bonnie Blue and her touring bus, fearing that it is proving a distraction for local students.

PC Siobhan is meanwhile faced with a potential stalking case and begins working to identify the suspect and get him off the streets before he can strike again.

PC Adam also assists trading standards officers at a newsagent suspected of selling illegal vapes and cigarettes.

Lucy Letby: Scapegoat? – Channel 5, 10pm

One of the night’s most controversial documentaries arrives on Channel 5 at 10pm with Lucy Letby: Scapegoat?

The new investigation, made by The Sun in partnership with Channel 5, re-examines the prosecution case against former neonatal nurse Lucy Letby and examines whether failures at the hospital were properly considered.
