Heart announces new live show and here’s how you can buy tickets.

Tickets for Heart Christmas Live 2026 go on sale on Friday 25 September, with the first major act for the festive event at London’s Royal Albert Hall confirmed as Take That.

The one-night Christmas celebration, presented by Heart and the Royal Albert Hall, will be hosted by Heart Breakfast presenters Amanda Holden and Jamie Theakston.

Take That announced for Heart Christmas Live

Heart has confirmed Take That as the first act joining the line-up for Heart Christmas Live with NatWest.

The band will perform at the Royal Albert Hall as part of what Heart is billing as its biggest Christmas celebration yet.

Take That have nine number one albums and are behind some of the band’s biggest hits, including Rule The World, Patience and Greatest Day.

The announcement was made by Jamie Theakston and Amanda Holden on Heart Breakfast.

What is Heart Christmas Live?

Heart Christmas Live with NatWest will bring together major names from music and entertainment for a one-night festive celebration at the Royal Albert Hall.

The event will feature live performances, collaborations and Christmas-themed surprises, with Heart promising a night of music and entertainment.

More names are expected to be announced for the line-up.

When do Heart Christmas Live tickets go on sale?

Tickets for Heart Christmas Live with NatWest go on sale on 25 September 2026.

Tickets will be available through Global Player, heart.co.uk and directly from the Royal Albert Hall box office.

Heart Xmas returns in September

Heart has also confirmed the return of Heart Xmas, its dedicated Christmas radio station.

Heart Xmas returns on Friday 25 September, playing Christmas music around the clock.

The station will feature festive favourites from artists including Mariah Carey, Wham! and Michael Bublé, with songs including All I Want for Christmas Is You, Last Christmas and It’s Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas.

Heart Xmas will play Christmas hits 24 hours a day, seven days a week, giving listeners an early start to the festive season.

When does Heart start playing Christmas music?

Heart Breakfast presenters Jamie Theakston and Amanda Holden will also officially unlock Christmas music on Heart later this year.

The station’s annual Christmas tradition gives one lucky listener the opportunity to switch on the festive music after answering a series of Christmas-themed questions correctly.

For Heart listeners, the festive season is therefore getting underway earlier than ever, with Heart Xmas returning on 25 September and Heart Christmas Live preparing to bring Take That and other major names to the Royal Albert Hall.
