Oasis documentary ‘Don’t Look Back In Anger’ to stream on Disney+ from October 9
Disney+ has confirmed that Oasis: Don’t Look Back In Anger, the Hulu Original documentary chronicling Oasis’ long-awaited reunion, will arrive on the streaming service internationally on October 9. In the US, the film will be available on both Hulu and Disney+.
The film, which follows Liam and Noel Gallagher during their Oasis Live ’25 reunion tour, will also feature additional material unavailable in the theatrical release. Disney+ viewers will be able to watch previously unseen footage from the brothers’ joint interview, along with full performances of “Wonderwall” and “Slide Away”.
The streaming release will also include performances of “D’You Know What I Mean?” and “Half The World Away”, which will be available exclusively to Disney+ subscribers.
Produced by Magna Studios and presented by Sony Music Vision in association with Sony Music Entertainment UK, the documentary has already made an impact at the UK and Ireland box office. It became the highest-grossing documentary feature film of the year in those markets, according to Disney, while receiving a 97% Fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes and a 98% audience score.

Written and created by Steven Knight and directed by Dylan Southern and Will Lovelace, Oasis: Don’t Look Back In Anger documents the Gallagher brothers’ return to the stage for Oasis Live ’25.
The film follows the band through rehearsals, backstage preparations and live performances, while also examining the reaction to their reunion among fans around the world. It features the first joint interviews with Noel and Liam in more than two decades, providing a rare opportunity to hear both brothers reflect on their return.
Rather than focusing solely on the concert performances, the documentary explores the wider cultural and emotional significance of Oasis’ comeback, including the enduring relationship between the band’s music and multiple generations of fans.
The production team includes producers Sam Bridger, known for Lewis Capaldi: How I’m Feeling Now and Meet Me in the Bathroom, and Guy Heeley, whose credits include Locke and Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man.
Executive producers are Kate Shepherd, Marisa Clifford, Davud Karbassioun, Rob Stringer, Tom Mackay, Krista Wegener, Thomas Benski, Isabel Davis and Tim O’Shea.
The film’s creative and technical team also includes Oscar-winning sound mixers James Mather and Tarn Willers, cinematographer Haris Zambarloukos, and editors George Cragg and Martina Zamolo. The project was commissioned by Sean Doyle, VP of Unscripted Content for Disney+ EMEA.
Disney+ says its UK service is available from £5.99 per month, with subscribers able to cancel at any time. The platform offers programming across Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, National Geographic and Hulu, alongside original productions, documentaries, drama, comedy and live sport.
Upcoming and recent titles highlighted by the service include the second season of International Emmy and BAFTA Award-winning series Rivals, Only Murders in the Building, Walt Disney Animation Studios’ Zootropolis 2 and 20th Century Studios’ Send Help.
Disney+ also offers parental controls that allow subscribers to restrict access to mature content, establish PIN-protected profiles and use Junior Mode profiles for younger viewers.
