Speaking to Collider about the series, Coben said: “when I saw the surprise twist, I went, “What!?” and I’ve seen everything. If I put that in a book or that was on one of the Netflix series, you’d go, “C’mon. That couldn’t happen,” and you would send me a nasty email or whatever”.
