Full episode preview: Friday 9 October

Big Brother is set to deliver another evening of gossip, laughter and drama tonight, as the Housemates get their hands on a mysterious new machine designed to expose their secrets — while Twinks makes a surprising claim about a possible romance in the House.

With revelations about hidden snacks, feathers in a bed and a suspected crush, there is plenty for viewers to look forward to. But the biggest question of the night remains who will be evicted, as Pauline and Rob face the public vote.

Big Brother’s Gossip Machine gets the Housemates spilling the tea

A mysterious discovery in the Snug sparks the latest drama when Lynx comes across an unfamiliar machine and calls Frankie and Pauline over to investigate. Rob soon joins the group, asking: “What is that?”

The Housemates discover that they have stumbled upon Big Brother’s Gossip Machine, which offers the chance to earn a treat ticket by sharing juicy information about their fellow contestants.

Rob reads the instructions, explaining that gossip can only be shared when the green light is on. Big Brother will then decide whether each revelation deserves a reward, with successful gossipers able to redeem their treat tickets in the Diary Room.

Later, Yasmin, Harry and Samuel take their turns at Gossip Central, and it doesn’t take long for the revelations to begin.

Yasmin kicks things off by exposing Harry, telling the machine: “Harry was the one who put the feathers in Rochelle’s bed.”

After laughing at her revelation, Yasmin encourages Samuel to share what he knows. He turns his attention to Philip and reveals: “My gossip is Philip, despite calling out several people for hoarding, had four full-sized Cadbury bars and five salt and vinegar crisps to himself, that is also my gossip.”

Harry appears impressed by Samuel’s contribution, remarking: “I think that was quite good.”

With Samuel and Yasmin heading to the Diary Room to claim their treat ticket, Harry finds himself alone with the machine and decides there is another secret worth sharing.

He tells it: “I said about Philip hiding tuna.”

However, Harry’s moment at Gossip Central takes an unexpected turn when he catches his finger in the door. He then rushes to the Diary Room to join Yasmin and Samuel, revealing that he has more information to share.

Harry tells them: “I said something else, it was actually really juicy. I didn’t want to say it in front of anyone.”

What exactly has Harry revealed, and will Big Brother reward the Housemates for their latest round of gossip?

Twinks thinks Pauline has a crush on her

Twinks also has a revelation to share, but hers concerns a possible romance inside the Big Brother House.

Heading to Gossip Central, she tells the machine: “Big Brother, I’ve got some good gossip for you. I think that Pauline is flirting with me. I think Pauline has a big fat crush on me and is flirting with me. Look, I’m not saying I’m not flirting with Pauline, but I think Pauline is flirting with me. Big time.”

Confident that her theory is juicy enough to earn a reward, Twinks adds: “That’s pretty good goss, right? A bit of something something in this House.”

Her confidence appears to pay off when the machine dings and she receives a treat ticket. Delighted by her success, Twinks celebrates with a dance and sings: “Give it to me, give it to me, more.”

Rather than telling the other Housemates about her reward, however, she decides to keep it secret and hides the ticket inside her boot.

She tells the machine: “I’m going to keep it a secret. I’m going to try and keep it a secret, secret, yeah?”

Unfortunately for Twinks, her plan doesn’t last long. When she returns to the living room, Catrin asks whether she managed to secure a ticket. Twinks denies it, but Yasmin quickly gives the game away, declaring: “I seen you put it in your boot!”

Twinks Turner declares: “No girl’s safe”

The gossip doesn’t end with the machine. Later, Twinks heads into the garden and continues discussing her suspected flirtation with Pauline while chatting to Yasmin.

She announces: “I’m giving P gay panic, wouldn’t be the first gal. Twinksy the turner!”

Yasmin joins in the fun, cheering Twinks’ new nickname, “to Twinksy turner”.

The playful exchange continues as Twinks declares: “No girl’s safe”.

She then shares her gossip with the wider group, announcing: “My gossip today wes that P has a big fat crush on me and has been flirting with me loads!”

Pauline, who is in the hot tub, reacts with surprise and shouts: “what?! you didn’t say that”

Twinks, meanwhile, credits her newfound confidence to her drink, telling the group: “this goblet of Rose I had to fight for is making me sassy!”

But is Twinks right about Pauline’s feelings, or has she mistaken friendly behaviour for something more? With the Housemates now aware of her theory, it remains to be seen whether the pair will address the speculation directly.

Who will be evicted from Big Brother tonight?

Alongside the gossip and potential romance, tonight’s episode will also bring a major decision, as either Pauline or Rob faces eviction from the Big Brother House.

Following this week’s dramatic face-to-face nominations, the pair received the most nominations from their fellow Housemates and were left facing the public vote.

Now, the decision rests with viewers. One of the nominated Housemates will see their time in the competition come to an end, leaving the remaining contestants to continue their journey in the House.

With tensions running high and plenty of secrets circulating, the eviction could bring another emotional moment for the Housemates.

Will Pauline be sent home, or will Rob be the one to leave? The public will decide who stays and who goes.

Big Brother continues tonight at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.
