Ethan Hawke, Betty Gilpin and Tommy Lee Jones have been discussing their Hulu and Disney Plus series, The Lowdown.
The trio guested on Good Morning America to dish all on the second season of the popular mystery series.
The Lowdown follows Lee Raybon, a self-proclaimed Tulsa “truthstorian” and citizen journalist who is determined to uncover the truth behind the stories others would rather keep hidden. With its mix of investigative journalism, local corruption and dangerous family secrets, the crime drama centres on a man whose search for answers repeatedly puts him in harm’s way.
At the heart of the story is Lee’s investigation into a suspicious suicide connected to the powerful Washberg family. As he digs deeper, he finds himself drawn into a web of local mysteries and corruption, forcing him to question the people and institutions that shape life in Tulsa.
The Lowdown Season 2 premiered on Wednesday, 14 October 2026, on FX and Hulu in the US. It launched with two episodes, with the remaining episodes scheduled weekly. In the UK, it streams on Disney Plus.
