The wait is almost over as The Celebrity Traitors reaches its eagerly anticipated final tonight, with seven players still in the running and millions of viewers desperate to discover who will be crowned the winners.
The BBC has confirmed that the feature-length finale starts at 8pm on BBC One, giving the remaining contestants extra time to bring the extraordinary second series to its conclusion.
And after last night’s explosive episode, tonight’s instalment could become the most-watched edition of the show ever.
James Acaster’s dramatic decision to sacrifice himself at the Round Table has left the game wide open, with the remaining players facing one final battle of suspicion, strategy and betrayal.

It has not been confirmed whether James Acaster himself will participate in the discussion, following his dramatic exit from the game.

Who is left in The Celebrity Traitors?
Seven contestants have made it through to the final, with Bash, Romesh Ranganathan, Michael Sheen, Maya Jama, Leigh-Anne Pinnock, James Blunt and King Kenny still in the competition.
They have survived weeks of murders, banishments and tense Round Table discussions, but the biggest decisions are still to come.
The central question now is whether the remaining Faithful can identify the Traitors before they run out of opportunities.
Maya and Michael are particularly important to the drama heading into the final. Viewers will be desperate to discover whether Maya makes a move against Michael, or whether he can persuade the others that she is a Traitor.
With suspicion already swirling, the final could turn on one conversation or a single decision.
James Acaster’s dramatic sacrifice sets up a huge finale
Last night’s penultimate episode delivered one of the most memorable moments of the series when comedian James Acaster chose to expose himself as a Traitor at the Round Table.
As the pressure mounted, James admitted that he had been made a Traitor against his wishes, explaining that he had always wanted to be a Faithful.
His confession stunned the other players and ultimately led to his banishment.
James later reflected on his decision, explaining that with three Traitors still in the game, their victory could have become almost inevitable.
He said he was pleased to have reached the ninth episode and that the game was now in a much better position for a proper final.
His exit has given the remaining Faithful a significant development to consider, but it has not necessarily made their task any easier.
With so much still uncertain, tonight’s episode promises to be a tense conclusion.
