Strictly Come Dancing is getting spooky as the annual Halloween special takes over the ballroom on Saturday night, with the remaining couples preparing to deliver a frighteningly good selection of performances.

What time is Strictly on tonight?

The Halloween spectacular airs at 6.30pm on Saturday on BBC One and BBC iPlayer, promising a night of tricks, treats and terrifying transformations as the celebrities and their professional partners take to the dance floor.

There will also be a supernatural presence among the judges, with Shirley Ballas, Craig Revel Horwood, Motsi Mabuse and Anton Du Beke getting involved in the Halloween fun.

But once the spooky performances are over, which couples will cast a spell over the judges and viewers? And who could find themselves facing the dreaded dance-off?

Strictly Come Dancing Halloween songs and dances revealed

The songs and routines for this year’s Halloween special have been revealed throughout the week on social media and spin-off show Strictly – It Takes Two.

The couples will be tackling a varied selection of dances, from jives and Viennese waltzes to sambas, tangos and Argentine tangos.

Bethany Antonia and Nancy Xu will perform a jive to Fifth Harmony’s I’m in Love With a Monster, while Dani Dyer and Nikita Kuzmin have a Viennese waltz to My Favourite Things from Rodgers and Hammerstein.

Delta Goodrem and Kai Widdrington will also take on a Viennese waltz, dancing to Unchained Melody by The Righteous Brothers.

Elsewhere, Jaime Winstone and Carlos Gu will bring a salsa to Scissor Sisters’ Filthy/Gorgeous, while Lacey Turner and Vito Coppola will perform a Charleston to Cheryl’s Crazy Stupid Love, featuring Tinie Tempah.

Tabby Stoecker and Mark Karmalita are preparing a quickstep to Little Mix’s Black Magic, and Cach Mercer and Maddie Ingoldsby will take on an Argentine tango to Pas De Deux by Michael Abels.

The remaining routines include a samba from Graeme Hall and Lauren Oakley to Harry Nilsson’s Coconut, a tango from John Nellis and Katya Jones to Slayyyter’s Dance, and another tango from Lawrence Robb and Jowita Przystał to the unmistakable Ghostbusters by Ray Parker Jr.

Rounding off the line-up, Will Best and Dianne Buswell will perform a Couple’s Choice routine to Nu Flow by Big Brovaz.

With such a wide range of music and dance styles, the Halloween special looks set to deliver plenty of dramatic costumes and memorable moments.

Strictly Sunday results show features Dracula routine and Becky Hill

The Halloween celebrations will continue on Sunday night as the couples discover the results of Saturday’s performances.

The professional dancers will get their fangs out for a group routine dedicated to Dracula, while singer Becky Hill will provide the musical entertainment.

There will also be another tense dance-off as the couples discover whether they have done enough to stay in the competition.

With the halfway point of the series approaching, the stakes are getting higher. Which celebrities will survive another week, and whose Halloween weekend will end in a nightmare?

Strictly Come Dancing’s Halloween special airs at 6.30pm on Saturday on BBC One and BBC iPlayer, followed by the results show on Sunday.
