Capital Buzz Cancels Inaugural Live Event at indigo at The O2 “Due to Unforeseen Circumstances”
Capital Buzz has officially cancelled its inaugural live concert, Capital Buzz Live, just weeks before it was set to take place at London’s indigo at The O2 on Tuesday, 1 December.
In a brief statement released by event organizers, Global announced that the flagship gig would no longer go ahead “due to unforeseen circumstances.”

The news comes as a blow to fans hoping to catch a stellar line-up of emerging music talent. The night was slated to be headlined by actor and singer Bash Croft—who recently captured public attention on Celebrity Traitors following the launch of his music career last year—alongside Arthur Hill, flowerovlove, Chloe Qisha, and Mulaa Joans.
The show was designed to mark a major milestone for Capital Buzz, moving Global’s digital-first Gen Z entertainment brand beyond screen-based coverage and into live events. The evening promised a mix of original tracks and exclusive live covers from the five breakthrough artists, alongside backstage content captured throughout the night.
Capital Buzz presenters Sam Prance and Tia Owomoyela were set to co-host the showcase alongside Scroll Deep host Benedict Townsend.
The live gig was billed as the natural evolution of the Capital Buzz Artist of the Month initiative, an ongoing scheme leveraging Global’s radio, online, and outdoor platforms to champion rising stars. The line-up featured September’s featured artist Mulaa Joans, alongside Arthur Hill (fresh off announcing his Arthway Round The World tour), indie-pop favorite flowerovlove (who previously supported Niall Horan), and Chloe Qisha, who burst onto the scene with her debut single in July 2024.
Jack Morlen, Director of Artist & Entertainment Relations at Global, had previously described the show as an exciting new development for the brand’s ongoing push into supporting grassroots and next-generation music talent.
Organizers have not yet confirmed whether the event will be rescheduled for a future date or if ticket holders will receive automatic refunds. Neither Global nor representatives for the line-up’s performers—including Croft—have provided further details regarding the cause of the sudden cancellation.
This week we revealed Capital will announce this year’s Jingle Bell Ball concert on Monday. wheretowatch.tv understands Bash is set to perform at this event, instead.
