It’s results night on Strictly Come Dancing 2026, and another celebrity will be saying goodbye to the ballroom as the competition reaches its halfway point.

Following Saturday night’s performances, the remaining couples are waiting to discover whether they have done enough to secure their place in next week’s show, or whether they will be facing the dreaded dance-off.

Dani Dyer and professional partner Nikita Kuzmin finished at the top of the leaderboard after delivering an impressive American Smooth, scoring an outstanding 36 points from the judges.

At the other end of the standings, John Nellis and Katya Jones, alongside Cach Mercer and Maddie Ingoldsby, found themselves sharing the bottom position after both couples scored 26 points.

However, with the public vote also playing a crucial part in deciding who makes it through, the leaderboard is far from the full story.

Jaime Winstone and Carlos Gu were absent from Saturday night’s show after Jaime was advised not to dance for medical reasons, adding another element of uncertainty to this week’s results.

What’s happening on tonight’s Strictly results show?

As the nation prepares to remember those who served, tonight’s results show will feature a particularly poignant professional group performance.

In honour of Remembrance Sunday, the professional dancers will perform a special routine inspired by the vital contribution made by millions of women during the Second World War.

There will also be a musical performance from Grammy Award-winning singer Gregory Porter.

With Dani and Nikita celebrating their highest-scoring performance so far, and several couples separated by just a handful of points, the competition is becoming increasingly unpredictable.

John and Cach will undoubtedly be hoping that the public have picked up the phone to support them, while those further up the leaderboard will be keen to avoid an unexpected appearance in the bottom two.

The results will be revealed during tonight’s programme on BBC One, with the two couples receiving the lowest combined scores facing the judges in the dance-off.
