GB News is expanding its programming with the launch of a new weekly show focused on motherhood, parenting and family life in Britain.

The broadcaster has announced the arrival of GB Mums, a programme bringing together some of its most recognisable presenters to discuss the issues affecting families across the UK alongside the major news stories of the week.

Premiering on Friday, June 19, the show will stream weekly on the GB News YouTube channel, offering viewers a mix of personal experiences, debate and discussion on modern motherhood and parenting.

The programme will feature regular appearances from Michelle Dewberry, Nana Akua, Emily Carver and Bev Turner, with guest contributors and other familiar faces from across the GB News network expected to join throughout the series.

According to the broadcaster, GB Mums will explore topics ranging from headline-making national issues to the everyday realities of raising children in contemporary Britain.

Michelle Dewberry said the programme would provide an honest platform for mothers to discuss the challenges facing families today.

“Being a mum is a unique experience and it’s mind-boggling at the best of times,” she said. “GB Mums is us putting the world to rights without a jot of political correctness, talking about the things that impact us as mums and the world our children will grow up in.”

Nana Akua said viewers consistently value authenticity and openness from presenters.

“GB Mums allows us to share more of our own experiences and connect with viewers through conversations that are often funny, sometimes challenging and always real,” she said.

For Emily Carver, who recently became a mother, the timing of the new programme is particularly significant.

“As a new mum, this programme comes at the perfect time for me,” she said. “I’m looking forward to discussing the issues that matter to parents today, learning from other mums and sharing the realities of raising children in modern Britain.”

Bev Turner described mothers as playing a central role in society and said the programme reflects the broadcaster’s commitment to family-focused discussion.

“Mums are the beating heart of our country,” she said. “GB News knows that the family remains the stable backbone of the UK and we are proud to support families and mothers through GB Mums.”

The launch marks the latest addition to GB News’ growing slate of original programming, with the broadcaster aiming to create a dedicated space for conversations around parenting, family values and the challenges facing modern households.
