Philip and Rhianna have been evicted in tonight’s Big Brother double eviction.
The pair became the latest housemates to leave the ITV2 reality show, as tensions continue to rise ahead of next week’s final.
Big Brother delivered another dramatic night on Friday as Philip Regan and Rhianna Collins became the latest housemates to be evicted following a public vote.
The double eviction left the remaining contestants stunned, with both departures greeted by a particularly hostile reception from the crowd gathered outside the famous house.
Philip was the first to discover his fate, with presenters AJ Odudu and Will Best announcing live that he had received enough votes to leave the competition.
The Liverpudlian was met with a chorus of boos as his name was revealed, with the reaction growing even louder as he made his way out of the house.
However, there was little time for the remaining housemates to recover before another shock departure was announced.
Rhianna was also told that her time in the competition was over, prompting another loud chorus of boos from the crowd as the blonde contestant waved goodbye to the screaming audience.
The double eviction followed a tense round of nominations which saw five housemates placed at risk.
Rochelle received the most nominations, picking up a whopping eight votes from her fellow contestants. Samuel and Rhianna each received three, while Philip and Twinks were both nominated twice.
It has been a particularly explosive week inside the Big Brother house, with tensions reaching boiling point following the arrival of reality television legend Tiffany Pollard.
The American television personality wasted little time making her presence felt, becoming embroiled in several clashes with Philip.
Their disagreements intensified after Tiffany questioned his behaviour and later revealed comments he had allegedly made about fellow housemate Yasmin during a special aura-reading session.
Elsewhere, the housemates were plunged into the Halloween spirit with the spooky House of Horror shopping task, while Yasmin and Rochelle found themselves at the centre of another heated confrontation.
The pair clashed over accusations of whispering behind other housemates’ backs, adding further fuel to an already combustible atmosphere.
Big Brother enjoys ratings revival as streaming figures soar
Despite the drama inside the house, this year’s Big Brother has also been enjoying considerable success with television audiences.
The latest series has proved a significant hit for ITV2 and ITVX, with viewing figures showing a marked improvement on last year’s competition.
According to figures released by ITV in October, the opening episode consolidated at 1.4 million viewers, while the programme recorded 4.9 million streams during its first week alone – a 32 per cent increase on the equivalent period in 2025.
The momentum continued throughout September and October, with the show accumulating 12.7 million streams on ITVX after its first 13 episodes, representing a 50 per cent year-on-year increase.
More recently, ITV revealed that Big Brother and its companion programme, Big Brother: The Group Chat, had amassed a combined 37 million streams during the current series – almost 14 million more than the comparable figures for last year’s Big Brother and Late & Live.
That represents an impressive 58 per cent increase, while viewing among 16 to 34-year-olds is up by 68 per cent.
The main programme has also enjoyed some of its strongest television audiences since its return to ITV in 2023, with one October episode attracting 787,000 viewers – its biggest audience for a non-launch episode since the revival.
The show’s continued popularity has even prompted ITV to commission a special reunion programme, which will bring this year’s housemates back together for another evening of revelations, unfinished business and potential confrontations.
With eight contestants now remaining, the competition is entering its final week, and the pressure is only expected to intensify as the housemates battle to secure their place in the final.
After weeks of explosive arguments, unexpected celebrity appearances, nominations and dramatic departures, the question now is which housemate will emerge victorious and be crowned this year’s Big Brother winner.
