When is the Big Brother final? ITV confirm big plans.

when is the big brother final

Big Brother will wrap up its latest series with a live final on ITV2 and ITVX, followed by a brand-new reunion special bringing the housemates back together.

The countdown is officially on for Big Brother fans, with ITV confirming when this year’s series will come to an end — and there’s another treat in store for viewers the following night.

The Big Brother final will air on ITV2 and ITVX at 9pm on 5 November, bringing the current series to its dramatic conclusion as the remaining housemates discover who will be crowned the winner. That will be followed by Big Brother: The Group Chat.

But the drama won’t stop there. On 6 November, viewers can tune in at 9pm for a brand-new programme, Big Brother: The Reunion, which will bring together all of this year’s housemates to look back on their time in the famous house.

The special promises to revisit the standout moments, memorable clashes and unexpected friendships that have helped make this year’s series such a talking point.

ITV said: “Big Brother has created some of the most iconic and talked-about moments in reality TV this year, and we’re looking forward to reuniting our Housemates to reflect on their unforgettable journeys. Viewers can expect plenty of surprises, laughter, and perhaps a few scores to settle.”

Big Brother enjoys huge ratings and streaming success

The announcement comes as Big Brother continues to enjoy a major resurgence, with impressive viewing figures and streaming numbers strengthening the show’s position on ITV.

According to figures released by ITV on 19 October, the Big Brother brand has surpassed 202 million streams on ITVX, underlining the enduring popularity of the reality TV franchise.

The current series and its companion programme, Big Brother: The Group Chat, have collectively generated 37 million streams — almost 14 million more than Big Brother and Big Brother: Late & Live had achieved at the equivalent point last year. That represents a substantial 58% year-on-year increase.

Traditional television audiences have also been encouraging. One recent episode attracted 762,000 viewers, making it the series’ second-biggest audience of the run at that point and more than doubling the audience for the equivalent episode last year.

The show has also proved particularly popular with younger viewers, with its 16–34 audience up 68% year-on-year.

The figures follow an equally promising start to the series, with the launch episode consolidating at 1.4 million viewers and early streaming figures already showing significant growth compared with 2025.

The strong performance will come as welcome news for ITV, with Big Brother continuing to demonstrate its ability to attract viewers across both traditional television and streaming.

While the broadcaster has yet to formally confirm another full series, the latest figures provide compelling evidence for the show’s continued value to ITV2 and ITVX. With the franchise attracting millions of streams, growing its younger audience and generating plenty of conversation, the prospects of further series look encouraging.

For fans, the immediate focus will be on the final, followed by the reunion special, which promises one last opportunity to catch up with the housemates and discover what has happened since they left the house.
