What Is Crystal Lake About?
Set before the events of the classic slasher franchise, Crystal Lake explores the origin story of horror’s most infamous mother.
Nearly a year after her young, sickly son Jason tragically drowns in the town lake, single mother Pam Voorhees (Linda Cardellini) remains paralyzed by grief. When two strangers knock on her door digging into her past, a disturbing chain of events is set into motion, unleashing psychological suspense and forcing the local townspeople to question who Pam Voorhees really is.
