The Ongoing Legacy of ‘All I Want For Christmas Is You’
Carey’s festive return follows the enduring, record-breaking legacy of her modern holiday anthem, ‘All I Want For Christmas Is You’.
Originally released in 1994 as part of her landmark album Merry Christmas, the track has evolved into a global phenomenon over the past three decades. After an unprecedented 26-year journey, the song finally reached Number 1 on the UK Official Singles Chart in December 2020—and has consistently re-entered the UK Top 5 every single year since.
Now certified 10x Platinum in the UK, the track holds the record for most weeks spent in the UK top 10 for a festive song. Alongside her iconic holiday catalog, attendees can expect Carey to perform a selection of her greatest career hits and fan-favourite tracks.
