BBC Radio 2 is bringing its flagship live music festival to City Park in Stirling from Friday 11 September to Sunday 13 September 2026.
Featuring world-class pop icons, local Scottish legends, and the full roster of Radio 2 presenters, the massive three-day event features headliners Chaka Khan and Simple Minds.

BBC Two and BBC iPlayer will broadcast live sets and highlight shows across the weekend.
Saturday 12 September 2026
- 9:00 PM – Saturday Highlights (BBC Two & BBC iPlayer): A roundup of day-one setlists, featuring Texas, Lulu, Jack Savoretti, ABC, The Script, and Emeli Sandé.
- 10:00 PM – Chaka Khan Live (BBC Two & BBC iPlayer): The “Queen of Funk” takes the headlining slot live from Stirling, performing five decades of soul, R&B, and disco classics.
Sunday 13 September 2026
- 10:00 PM – Simple Minds Live (BBC Two & BBC iPlayer): Scottish icons Simple Minds close out the festival with an electrifying headline set packed with classic stadium anthems.
- 11:15 PM – Sunday Highlights (BBC Two & BBC iPlayer): Full highlights from the final day, including performances by Deacon Blue, Appleton, Blue, Cast, James Blunt, and Level 42.

Live coverage begins Friday 11 September at 6:30 AM on the Sara Cox Breakfast Show, co-hosted live from Stirling alongside Texas lead singer Sharleen Spiteri.
