Big Brother 2026 update: Chelsey and Pauline are officially up for the latest live eviction vote following a tense first night of nominations.
Tensions hit a boiling point in the Big Brother house tonight as the series’ very first formal nomination process left two popular housemates on the chopping block. Chelsey and Pauline are now facing the public vote ahead of Friday night’s dramatic live eviction broadcast on ITV2 and ITVX.
Key Takeaways
The Nominees: Chelsey and Pauline will face the public vote this week after receiving five and six nominations respectively from their fellow Housemates.
Immunity Advantage: Johanne and Samuel secured immunity for the week, keeping them completely safe from receiving any nominations during this round.
How to Vote: The eviction vote opens tonight, September 23, at 10:15 PM, giving viewers the power to choose which Housemate they want to send packing.
Eviction Night Details: Tune in this Friday night on ITV2 and ITVX to see who gets booted from the Big Brother House and watches their journey end in a live interview with hosts AJ Odudu and Will Best.
How the Nominations Played Out
Tonight’s episode saw the housemates head into the Diary Room to cast their votes for the very first time this series. However, the playing field wasn’t completely level—both Johanne and Samuel entered the session with complete immunity from the upcoming eviction, meaning their peers were forced to target other targets.
Chelsey picked up five nominations, with Johanne, Harry, Pauline, Rob, and Samuel all opting to put her forward. Meanwhile, Pauline found herself in even deeper water after receiving six nominations from Charlotte, Chelsey, Frankie, Omar, Philip, and Rochelle.
What’s Next for the Housemates?
With the nominations locked in, the power now shifts entirely to the public. Voting opens at 10:15 PM tonight (September 23), giving viewers the chance to cast their vote to evict their least favourite contestant.
The drama will culminate during Friday night’s live show, where one contestant’s journey will come to an abrupt end before they sit down for their first exit interview with co-hosts AJ Odudu and Will Best.
