Big Brother star Charlotte Nott leaves the house in surprise exit

Big Brother has been hit by another unexpected departure, with 18-year-old housemate Charlotte Nott choosing to leave the ITV2 reality show.

The Oxford student decided to end her time in the famous house on Saturday afternoon, following an intense run of events that has seen tensions rise among the contestants.

Charlotte, who is the youngest housemate in this year’s line-up, reportedly told those around her that she had been struggling to find her place amid the increasingly chaotic atmosphere.

Her decision comes shortly after fellow housemate Chelsey Amari was evicted following a tense public vote, adding another dramatic turn to a turbulent few days inside the house.

A source quoted by The Sun said Charlotte had already spoken to other contestants about feeling “a bit lost” and had ultimately decided that the experience was no longer right for her.

The source also pointed to a series of recent incidents, including the tennis-ball controversy, “Chicken Gate” and Chelsey’s eviction, as contributing to the unusually hectic atmosphere.

Despite leaving, Charlotte is understood to have been appreciative of the opportunity to take part in the programme and chose to return home to her family.

Her exit is set to be shown during Sunday’s episode, meaning viewers will see the events surrounding her departure unfold on screen.

A Big Brother spokesperson confirmed Charlotte’s decision, saying she had chosen to leave the house and thanking her for being “a fantastic house mate.”

Charlotte’s departure means the remaining contestants will now have to adjust to yet another change in the house, with the latest exit coming during one of the most eventful stretches of the current series.
