Television royalty gathered at London’s O2 Arena on Tuesday night for the 31st annual National Television Awards, hosted for the sixth consecutive year by comedian Joel Dommett.

Comedian and presenter Alan Carr was the star of the night, taking home the prestigious Special Recognition Award in honour of his multi-decade career in British broadcasting.

ITV’s true-crime drama I Fought The Law had a standout evening, claiming the award for Best New Drama. Meanwhile, Amazon Prime Video’s hit series Clarkson’s Farm held off stiff competition—including Stacey Solomon and Joe Swash’s reality series—to win the Reality Docuseries category.

In daytime television, ITV’s This Morning secured another victory in the Daytime category, while Channel 4’s armchair critics in Gogglebox claimed the award for Factual Entertainment. Over in the entertainment category, Michael McIntyre’s Big Show scooped up the Bruce Forsyth Entertainment Award.
