Disney has released the first full trailer for the upcoming sequel, offering fans their first look at the next generation of campers alongside familiar faces from the original films.

The preview promises plenty of original songs, energetic dance numbers, emotional reunions and the signature summer camp atmosphere that made the franchise a fan favourite.

What is Camp Rock 3 about?

The new story sees Connect 3 returning to Camp Rock after unexpectedly losing the opening act for their major reunion tour.

Determined to discover fresh talent, the band launches a search for the next breakout performer. As campers compete for the opportunity to open the tour, rivalries emerge, friendships are put under pressure and unexpected romances begin to blossom.

Alongside the music and performances, the film promises plenty of emotional twists as old traditions meet a new generation of aspiring stars.

Who stars in Camp Rock 3?

The sequel introduces a host of new characters led by Liamani Segura as Sage, alongside Malachi Barton as Fletch, Lumi Pollack as Rosie, Sherry Cola as Lark, Hudson Stone as Desi, Casey Trotter as Cliff, Brooklynn Pitts as Callie and Ava Jean as Madison.

Fans of the original films will also see several familiar faces return.

Joe Jonas reprises his role as Shane Gray, while brothers Nick Jonas and Kevin Jonas return as Nate and Jason Gray. Maria Canals-Barrera is also back as Connie.

Who is behind the new movie?

Camp Rock 3 is directed by Veronica Rodriguez, with a screenplay by Eydie Faye. Choreography comes from Jamal Sims, while Disney Kids & Family produces the latest instalment.

The official soundtrack is available to pre-save and pre-order ahead of its digital release on 14 August, with a vinyl edition scheduled to follow on 18 September.

Camp Rock heads back on tour

The return of Camp Rock also extends beyond Disney+.

The Worlds Collide Concert Tour will travel across North America this autumn, bringing together stars from the Camp Rock, Descendants and ZOMBIES franchises for a 49-date arena tour across the United States, Canada and Mexico.

The tour is then set to continue into 2027 with 11 additional dates across the UK and Europe.
