Joey Essex, JB Gill and Caroline Quentin face cooking battle as four celebrities fight for a place in the quarter-finals
There are high stakes in the kitchen tonight as four familiar faces go head-to-head in a brand-new challenge on Cooking with the Stars.
Joey Essex, JB Gill, Caroline Quentin and Harry Aikines-Aryeetey will battle it out in a first-ever four-way cooking contest, with just 30 minutes to turn an unfamiliar recipe into a dish worthy of impressing the experts.
Hosted by Emma Willis and Tom Allen, tonight’s episode promises plenty of pressure, unexpected challenges and potentially some kitchen disasters as the celebrities discover exactly what they’ve got to work with.
The twist is that none of the four contestants will have seen their recipes before. They’ll need to think quickly, keep their cool and put their cooking skills to the test if they want to secure a place in the next stage of the competition.
With the clock ticking and four very different personalities competing for glory, there will be little room for mistakes.
The two celebrities who impress the most will earn an automatic place in the quarter-finals, taking one step closer to the coveted title. But for the two who fail to make the grade, the pressure will be far from over.
They’ll face a last-chance cook-off, where they’ll have just a few more minutes to convince the world-class chefs that they deserve to stay in the competition. One will ultimately be sent home.
It’s a particularly important test for the remaining contestants, as the competition becomes tougher and the margin for error gets smaller. With a surprise recipe, a tight deadline and the judges watching every move, tonight’s four-way showdown could change everything.
Viewers looking for a little inspiration of their own can also recreate dishes from the series at home, with recipes from Cooking with the Stars available through Marks & Spencer’s dedicated online collection.
So, who will rise to the challenge, who will crumble under the pressure and whose cooking journey will come to an end?
