With the Chiefs continuing their pursuit of another Super Bowl title and the Broncos determined to make their mark against their divisional rivals, there is plenty at stake in this latest meeting.
Chiefs looking to maintain their dominance
The Kansas City Chiefs arrive with their sights firmly set on another successful season, as they continue their quest for a fourth Super Bowl victory of the Patrick Mahomes era.
The Chiefs have enjoyed considerable success against Denver in recent years and will take confidence from their previous meeting this season, when they recorded a convincing 31-10 victory on home turf in September.
Mahomes and his teammates will be hoping to repeat that performance, although facing the Broncos away from home presents a different challenge.
Broncos hoping to turn the tables
However, Denver will be determined to make home advantage count.
The Broncos had won the previous three meetings between the sides before September’s defeat, demonstrating that they are more than capable of causing problems for their AFC West opponents.
Their last meeting at Empower Field at Mile High, in November 2025, ended in a narrow 22-19 victory for Denver.
With the home crowd behind them, the Broncos will be hoping to rediscover that winning formula and deliver another memorable performance against Kansas City.
