A spooky quiz, a mysterious Jack-in-the-box and a Halloween party with a potentially chilling surprise are on the cards tonight β but itβs tensions between Tiffany Pollard and Philip that threaten to steal the show.
Big Brother is turning up the fright factor tonight, with Housemates facing a Halloween-themed challenge that promises an exclusive party prize. But while some may be hoping for a night of spooky celebrations, there could be a much bigger shock waiting just around the corner.
In tonightβs episode, Housemates are summoned to the sofas to take part in Big Brotherβs βJack In A Box Horror Quizβ, with the promise of a coveted invitation to an exclusive Halloween party up for grabs.
Big Brother tells them: βItβs time to put your spooky knowledge to the test because today, youβll be taking part in Big Brotherβs βJack In A Box Horror Quizβ. And thereβs a rather special prize at the end: an invite to an exclusive Halloween party this evening.β
Divided into three groups β Team A, B and C β the Housemates must go head-to-head against their fellow teammates, answering a series of spooky questions.
Those who get a question right will then face one final challenge together. If they manage to answer correctly, each successful Housemate can choose another Housemate to join them at the party.
But the final question comes with an ominous warning.
Big Brother reveals: βIn front of you are three giant βJack In A Boxesβ each displaying a different possible answer. But only one displays the correct answer. If you choose correctly, you will win an invitation to tonightβs exclusive Halloween Party. Are you ready for your final question?β
The question itself sounds straightforward enough for horror fans, as Big Brother asks: βStephen Kingβs horror novel βItβ features a clown called what? A. Ronald. B. Pennywise. Or C. Krusty.β
However, the Housemates have no idea what β or, more importantly, who β is waiting for them inside the box.
Could their Halloween treat turn into a nightmare?
Tiffany Pollard opens up about her return
Elsewhere, Tiffany Pollard is settling into life in the House, but she already suspects that not everyone is thrilled to have her around.
Speaking to Big Brother in the Diary Room, Tiffany reflects on her return, saying: βHey, Big Brotherβ¦ it feels amazing to be back, I feel like Iβm supposed to be here.β
Asked for her first impressions of the other Housemates, Tiffany suggests that some of the smiles greeting her may not tell the whole story.
βI felt like they were really excited to greet me but at the same time, I know that theyβre holding back. A few of the Housemates are not happy that Iβm here, but for the majority of them, theyβre very happy to see me.β
When Big Brother asks which Housemates she believes are holding back, Tiffany admits she is struggling to put names to faces β but insists she has noticed some telling reactions.
βYou know, Iβm so bad at names but, I know who she is and she saw me and I saw her. And there was a couple of men that were holding back as well and I donβt know why but, everybodyβs not happy that Iβm here.β
She then offers a pointed explanation for her suspicions: βItβs aura. Itβs ability to connect without speaking. Your spirit doesnβt lie and neither do the eye. And I saw those eyes on me that did not want me here.β
With Tiffany already sensing resistance from certain members of the House, could her return be about to cause more drama than anyone anticipated?
βThis f**king house is absurdβ: Tiffany and Philip clash
The tension appears to escalate later, when some of the Housemates gather around the dining table for Tiffanyβs party.
Despite her concerns about the reception she has received, Tiffany seems delighted to be there, declaring: βThis f**king house is absurd. Iβm literally honoured to be seated at this table.β
Rhianna responds warmly: βWeβre honoured to have you, are you kidding.β
Philip also joins in, telling her: βWeβre honoured to have you.β
Tiffany goes on to explain why she feels comfortable being herself, saying: βI donβt feel like I have to compete so thatβs why I feel like I can be real and open, and authenticβ¦β
But the mood takes a turn when Tiffany continues speaking and makes a comment that insults Philip.
Later, with most of the Housemates gathered around the dining table, Philip returns from the Diary Room β and Tiffany wastes little time confronting him.
βExcuse me, do you have a problem with me?…β she asks.
What follows is a fiery exchange, with Tiffany making her frustration clear.
ββCause that was some bullshit and Iβm the houseguest, I just got here. And I gotta deal with him?β
The argument leaves little doubt that relations between the pair have become strained, with Philip later venting his own feelings to Rochelle in the bedroom.
βSheβs f**king nasty, through and through,β he says.
Rochelle offers her assessment of Tiffanyβs impact on the House: βSheβs like a whirlwind.β
Philip then delivers another blunt verdict: βYeah, sheβs a horrible woman.β
With Tiffany refusing to hold back and Philip making his feelings equally clear, the question is whether the pair can find common ground β or whether this is just the beginning of a bigger House feud.
And with a mysterious Halloween surprise still in store, tonightβs episode could have even more shocks waiting for the Housemates.
Big Brother continues tonight at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.
