Jamie’s 20 Minute Meals starts tonight at 8pm with brand new recipes cooked in real time.
After a long, busy day, the last thing you might feel like doing is cooking dinner. But Jamie Oliver is here to prove that delicious, satisfying food doesn’t have to take hours. In Jamie’s 20 Minute Meals, he shows us how to create incredible dishes in just 20 minutes — with no complicated tricks, no stress and no shortcuts. Just real recipes, cooked in real time and designed for everyday life.
Jamie kicks off the series with two quick, easy and seriously delicious recipes that anyone can make in just 20 minutes.
First up is his oozy Camembert and onion rice, inspired by French onion soup but taken to another level. Herby onions and rice are cooked with wine before a whole Camembert is nestled into the centre, creating a rich, molten, cheesy middle. Served with crunchy croutons for dipping, it’s the kind of comfort food that makes every mouthful feel special.
Next, Jamie makes a midweek crowd-pleaser: crispy golden breadcrumbed chicken with charred green beans and broccoli, served on creamy garlic beans. It’s simple, comforting and packed with flavour — and the whole dish is filmed in one continuous shot to show that it really can be made in just 20 minutes.
No takeaway required — just fast, delicious food made from scratch.
