TV Tonight: WAR

9:00pm, Sky Atlantic

Brace yourselves for a slick, cutthroat new addition to the autumn television calendar. Launching tonight at 9:00pm on Sky Atlantic, WAR is a bold, high-stakes legal drama that trades traditional courtroom pleasantries for backstabbing strategy and high-finance savagery.

Created by George Kay—the mastermind behind hit thrillers Lupin and Hijack—the new eight-part Sky Original plunges viewers straight into the ruthless world of two of London’s most prestigious rival law firms.

What Is new tv drama WAR About?

Set in the polished, high-pressure boardrooms of London’s legal elite, WAR centers on an explosive, headline-grabbing battle between rival firms Cathcarts & Sons and Taylor & Byrne.

At the heart of series one is the messy, multi-million-pound divorce of British tech entrepreneur Morgan Henderson (Dominic West) and international film star Carla Duval (Sienna Miller). As both legal teams stop at nothing to secure victory for their high-profile clients, ambitious young lawyer Jonathan “Johnny” Warren (Archie Renaux) finds himself dragged into a world where ambition is currency, betrayal is strategy, and winning is everything.

Sky has already handed WAR a double-series order, with production on series two already underway while series one makes its dramatic debut tonight.

The Power Players & Ensemble Cast

Beyond West and Miller leading the marital battlefront, WAR boasts a stacked, star-studded ensemble cast playing the legal titans and ambitious associates caught in the crossfire:
