Media and entertainment group Global today announced that renowned broadcaster and presenter Steve Jones is joining Radio X. The former T4 star and current lead anchor for Channel 4’s Formula 1 coverage will take the mic alongside a high-profile roster that includes Chris Moyles and Johnny Vaughan.
Iconic T4 royalty, Steve Jones joins Radio X to present Sunday mornings between 8am and 11am, starting on Sunday 4th October.
The Welsh presenter, who currently anchors Channel 4’s F1 highlights and live race broadcasts, brings extensive television experience and fan-favorite charismatic energy to the airwaves. Known for his Welsh charm and natural ability to connect with audiences, Steve will bring his own distinctive energy to Radio X, alongside the station’s unrivalled mix of indie, rock and alternative anthems.
Speaking on his new weekend role, Jones highlighted his long-time fandom of the station:
“I’ve been listening to Radio X since day 1 because it’s got the trifecta that all radio stations aim for. Great presenters, great music, and fantastic listeners. I am beyond thrilled to enter the fray. Can’t wait to get started on Sunday mornings…unless this is all a fevered cheese dream of course.”
— STEVE JONES, RADIO X PRESENTER
Station bosses echoed the enthusiasm for the television host joining their core weekend schedule.
