TV Tonight: Bradley Walsh investigates UFOs, Stonehenge and the lost city of Atlantis

bradley walsh out of this world starts tonight

From mysterious UFO sightings and Britain’s most famous alleged alien encounter to the secrets of Stonehenge and the lost city of Atlantis, Bradley Walsh is on a mission to separate fact from fiction in a fascinating new documentary series starting tonight.

BRADLEY WALSH: OUT OF THIS WORLD STARTS TONIGHT AT 9PM ON SKY HISTORY

Are we alone in the universe? What really happened in Rendlesham Forest? And could the legendary lost city of Atlantis have actually existed?

They are questions that have fascinated people for generations, but now Bradley Walsh is hoping to get closer to the truth in his new Sky HISTORY series, Bradley Walsh: Out of this World.

Following his adventures in Egypt’s Cosmic Code, the much-loved presenter is swapping ancient Egyptian mysteries for a whole new collection of extraordinary stories, investigating some of the world’s most enduring unexplained phenomena.

And while Bradley might be best known for making audiences laugh, this time he is putting his curiosity to the test, meeting witnesses, experts and historians in an attempt to uncover what really lies behind some of history’s biggest unanswered questions.

UFOs are firmly on the agenda, with Bradley beginning his investigation by exploring Britain’s declassified Ministry of Defence files and heading to Rendlesham Forest, the location of what is often described as Britain’s answer to Roswell.

The mysterious incident dates back to December 1980, when US military personnel reported strange lights and an unidentified object in the forest near RAF Woodbridge in Suffolk.

Bradley gets the opportunity to hear first-hand testimony from Lieutenant Colonel Charles ‘Chuck’ Halt, who was directly involved in the extraordinary events. His account provides one of the series’ most compelling moments, leaving Bradley with plenty to think about.

But Britain’s UFO mystery is only the beginning.

Bradley also travels across the Atlantic to Phoenix, Arizona, to investigate the infamous Phoenix Lights incident of March 1997, when thousands of people reported seeing unusual lights in the night sky over Arizona and Nevada.

Despite decades of debate and attempts to explain what happened, the sightings remain a source of fascination. After speaking to several people who witnessed the events themselves, Bradley is left questioning whether there could be more to their experiences than conventional explanations suggest.

And with UFOs once again attracting attention following testimony from former military and intelligence personnel in the United States, alongside the release of previously classified documents, the subject feels more relevant than ever.

However, Out of this World isn’t just about the possibility of extraterrestrial life.

Bradley also turns his attention to one of Britain’s most recognisable landmarks, Stonehenge, exploring the mysteries surrounding its construction, purpose and connection to the ancient world.

Having previously investigated Egypt’s extraordinary monuments, Bradley approaches the prehistoric site with renewed interest, particularly given the comparisons often made between the construction of Stonehenge and the Egyptian pyramids.

But it is perhaps the mystery of Atlantis that offers the biggest challenge of all.

The legendary lost civilisation was first described by the Greek philosopher Plato around 360 BC, and has inspired countless explorers, historians and researchers hoping to establish whether it was a real place or simply an elaborate story.

Bradley teams up with historian Tony McMahon to examine Plato’s descriptions and investigate the clues that have kept the Atlantis mystery alive for centuries.

Whether it’s unexplained sightings in the skies, ancient monuments or a civilisation supposedly swallowed by the sea, Bradley approaches each investigation with a healthy dose of scepticism, plenty of enthusiasm and his trademark humour.

He may not come away with answers to every question, but his willingness to listen to those who claim to have witnessed the extraordinary makes this an intriguing journey into the unknown.

For anyone who has ever wondered whether we’re alone in the universe, or questioned what secrets might be hiding in plain sight on our own planet, this could be essential viewing.

Don’t miss Bradley Walsh: Out of this World, starting tonight, Tuesday 3rd November, at 9pm exclusively on Sky HISTORY. Stream with Sky TV or NOW.
