Secret Diary Room confessions cause chaos as Rochelle faces an uncomfortable grilling

The Big Brother House is never short of drama, but tonight’s Mystery Task could prove particularly revealing as the Housemates are forced to confront some brutally honest comments made behind each other’s backs.

In a game titled ‘Diary Whom?’, Big Brother challenges the group to identify the people responsible for eight anonymous Diary Room confessions, with the Girls going head-to-head against the Boys.

But while the task is intended to test how well the Housemates know one another, the revelations threaten to open up some very personal wounds.

Big Brother gathers the Housemates on the sofas and explains: “Housemates, welcome to ‘Diary Whom?’. Big Brother has taken eight Diary Room moments, one from each Housemate currently at the sofas. But their identities have been concealed and it’s up to you to discover who’s really behind each confession and who they are talking about. You’ll be competing in two teams: Girls vs Boys.”

Omar is first up, faced with the rather damning confession: “What does he give? What the f**k does he give to the House? What does he give?”

He believes Twinks made the remark about Philip.

Next, Rochelle is presented with a confession that takes aim at someone’s personality, with the anonymous speaker declaring: “I will say it right now with chest. [Housemate] is a massive narcissist. Every conversation I’ve ever had with [Housemate], she always links it back to herself. Every single time without fail and it’s driving me insane in this House.”

Rochelle suggests Sam was speaking about her, before Frankie is given a particularly cutting confession to identify.

The clip says: “Just, oh my god, I just, she does not f**king shut up. And talk about being like, as they like to put it, performative. I’ve never known anything like it. I just need to be with my own age group.”

Frankie guesses: “It’s Rochelle, she was talking about Twinks, but anyone young.”

With some particularly personal opinions now out in the open, the big question is whether the Housemates have managed to correctly identify who said what – and whether they will be able to put the revelations behind them.

Rochelle and Yasmin’s war of words escalates after Twinks is dragged into the drama

The consequences of the Mystery Task are felt almost immediately, as Yasmin, Twinks and Rochelle head to the Kitchen to discuss the comments that have been exposed.

Yasmin wastes little time bringing up Rochelle’s confession, asking: “So have yous two spoke about what was said in Rochelle’s clip?… Because I don’t think Twinks liked you calling her performative, at all.

Rochelle is quick to point out that she has also been on the receiving end of criticism, replying: “I got called a narcissist.”

But Twinks is having none of the tit-for-tat arguments, telling Rochelle: “It’s not tit for tat, Rochelle.”

As Yasmin attempts to defend Twinks, Rochelle snaps: “Oh f**k off.”

Things become increasingly uncomfortable when Yasmin presses Rochelle on whether she still considers Twinks performative.

Rochelle responds: “I think everyone in here is in here…”

But Twinks is quick to interject: “I know I’m not.”

Rochelle finishes: “if you want me to be truthful.”

Yasmin continues to push for an explanation, asking: “What about Twinks do you think is performative?”

A few moments later, Twinks makes her position clear, insisting: “I am nothing but authentically 100% myself in here.”

Yasmin then turns back to Rochelle, asking: “And what do you think about that, Rochelle?”

But Rochelle has seemingly had enough of the questioning and fires back: “Yasmin. Why don’t you go and f**k off.”

When Yasmin tries to explain that she is simply asking questions, Rochelle challenges her: “Do you want, not anyone else, do you want to have a massive row?”

Yasmin replies: “A row about what?”

Rochelle answers: “Anything.”

Yasmin insists: “No. I’m asking YOU a question.”

But Rochelle draws a line, telling her: “Don’t ask me anymore.”

As the back and forth continues, Yasmin accuses Rochelle of showing little regard for Twinks’ feelings, saying: “You’ve upset someone and you don’t care.”

Rochelle’s response is blunt: “Shut up. Shut up.”

With the Mystery Task having turned into something far more personal, could the revelations leave lasting damage to relationships in the House?

Frankie and Catrin attempt to put their differences behind them

Elsewhere, Frankie and Catrin are hoping to clear the air after tensions surrounding comments Catrin made the previous night in the hot tub.

The pair sit down in The Snug to revisit the exchange, with Catrin admitting: “I didn’t understand.”

Frankie explains that his reaction was not necessarily about the comment itself, but how it might have made him look.

He says: “I know, I just thought, I’ll be honest with you. Do you know what, it weren’t so much about my girl and that. I just didn’t want to look like a weirdo.”

Catrin, however, remains confused about why Frankie took issue with her remarks when he has seemingly brushed off similar comments from other Housemates.

She tells him: “I know but, this is why I was like, I just don’t understand because people have made jokes to you and little comments and things and you just let it go. And when I said something…”

Frankie then brings up the specific remark that he believes crossed a line, saying: “But you did say, you did say I laid on the bed and stared at Rochelle’s feet.”

Catrin replies: “But, you know what I mean.”

Frankie goes on to explain what he felt was missing from the exchange, saying: “What my problem was, if you turn around and went ‘no like, I’m only joking’ but you did turn ‘round and say, ‘you did, you did, you did’.”

With the pair now finally discussing the issue face-to-face, will they manage to reach an understanding, or is the disagreement far from over?

Big Brother continues tonight at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.
