Apple Music Hall has opened its doors in Battersea Power Station with an impressive first season of concerts. The venue’s official listings confirm seven upcoming shows between October and December, following Sir Elton John’s inaugural performance on September 28.
The new 600-capacity venue is Apple’s first dedicated live music hall and has been designed to combine the atmosphere of an intimate club with the production capabilities of a much larger concert venue. Apple says the space has been created to bring artists and fans closer together, with a 38-foot-wide stage and a 48-speaker spatial sound system.
Who is playing at Apple Music Hall in London?
The opening programme covers a broad range of genres, from hip-hop and pop to alternative music, Afrobeats and electronic dance music.
Baby Keem — October 2
Rapper Baby Keem is next up at Apple Music Hall, performing on October 2.
The show follows Elton John’s opening-night performance and begins a run of concerts that will see the new Battersea venue host some of the biggest names in contemporary music. Apple Music’s own listings describe Baby Keem as bringing his energy to London for the October 2 performance.
Skye Newman — October 7
Skye Newman takes the stage on October 7.
The emerging artist’s Apple Music Hall appearance comes as part of a busy opening schedule for the venue, with the performance following Baby Keem by just five days. Apple Music describes the show as the next stop in Newman’s rise.
Troye Sivan — October 13
Pop star Troye Sivan will perform at Apple Music Hall on October 13.
Sivan’s show is one of the venue’s October highlights, with Apple Music describing the performance as bringing his polished pop sound to London.
Arlo Parks — October 22
British singer-songwriter Arlo Parks is scheduled to perform on October 22.
The show will give fans the chance to see Parks in the deliberately intimate surroundings of Apple Music Hall. Apple Music says Parks is set to perform at the venue on October 22.
Burna Boy — October 29
Afrobeats superstar Burna Boy heads to Apple Music Hall on October 29.
His appearance rounds off the venue’s October programme and comes after a month featuring performances from Baby Keem, Skye Newman, Troye Sivan and Arlo Parks. The date is confirmed on Apple Music Hall’s official upcoming-shows listing.
Chase & Status — November 26
Electronic music duo Chase & Status will perform at Apple Music Hall on November 26.
It is currently the venue’s only listed November show, providing a major electronic music date midway through the opening season.
Charli XCX — December 2
The current opening lineup concludes with Charli XCX on December 2.
Her show is scheduled to bring the first run of Apple Music Hall concerts into December, following the venue’s debut season of performances.
Elton John opened Apple Music Hall
Before those upcoming shows, Sir Elton John became the first artist to perform at Apple Music Hall on September 28.
The intimate concert officially opened Apple’s new London venue, with the performance also made available to Apple Music listeners. Apple Music billed it as the first show at its new live venue and scheduled the performance for 8pm BST on September 28.
Fans who missed the concert can find the Elton John: Apple Music Live presentation on Apple Music, including the performance and related content.

The Elton John concert also demonstrated one of the major ideas behind Apple Music Hall: performances can be experienced both inside the venue and by audiences around the world. Apple says the hall has been designed so artists can perform, record in Spatial Audio, create broadcast-ready mixes and capture multicamera video from the venue.

The venue’s official listings currently show Baby Keem, Skye Newman, Troye Sivan, Arlo Parks, Burna Boy, Chase & Status and Charli XCX as the upcoming performers.
Because Apple Music Hall has a capacity of just 600 people, its concerts are considerably more intimate than the large arenas and stadiums where many of these artists typically perform. Apple says the venue was intentionally designed to close the gap between an intimate club experience and arena-level production.
That makes the first Apple Music Hall season one to watch for London gig-goers, particularly as Apple continues to establish the new Battersea venue as a destination for exclusive live performances.

With Elton John having already opened the venue, the next few months will give London music fans their first proper taste of what Apple Music Hall is intended to become: a small-capacity live venue combining major artists, close-up performances and Apple’s recording and broadcast technology.
