According to The Sun, actress Beth Nixon is reprising her role as the PE teacher despite her character currently serving a five-year prison sentence. Megan was jailed earlier this year following a high-profile grooming storyline that shocked viewers when she first arrived on the Cobbles late last year.

Filming Secret Scenes

While ITV has yet to officially confirm the comeback, Beth Nixon has been spotted filming scenes alongside key cast members this week.

She was seen working with Lucas Hodgson-Wale (who plays Will), Catherine Tyldesley (Eva Price), and Pauline McLynn (family matriarch Maggie), teasing a major impact on the victims and their families as the fallout continues.

The move mirrors a similar high-stakes storyline seen on EastEnders earlier this year, when a former serial killer returned to screens after Ian Beale was landed in the same prison facility.
