Big Brother preview: Library revelations set to expose Housemates as tensions rise

big brother full episode preview

Big Brother is set for another dramatic night as the Housemates face a fresh round of revelations, while tensions between Omar and Pauline threaten to boil over.

The Big Brother house is braced for another uncomfortable day as a secret trip to the Library promises to uncover more of what the Housemates have been saying behind each other’s backs.

Wednesday’s episode will see Catrin and Twinks return to the Library, but this time they will be joined by two Housemates of their choice as Big Brother continues its week of revelations.

The pair are summoned to the Diary Room and asked: “Catrin and Twinks, do you fancy another trip to the Library?”

Twinks admits she expects the challenge to be more difficult now that the group knows each other better, saying: “It’s probably going to be a bit harder this time as we know everyone a little bit more.”

But there is a twist.

Rather than entering the Library alone, Big Brother tells them: “This time you get to choose two other Housemates to join you.”

After weighing up their options, Catrin and Twinks select Philip and Lynx.

Explaining the decision, Twinks says: “Lynx has a really rational head on his shoulders.”

Catrin adds: “I feel like Philip knows the score, he knows everything about everyone.”

The four then enter the Library, where Big Brother welcomes Philip and Lynx with the announcement: “Philip and Lynx, welcome to the Library.”

However, it appears the rest of the Housemates are already worried about what might emerge.

Rhianna reacts anxiously from the sofas, declaring: “I’m so f**d, I’m so sorry everyone.”

The Housemates in the Library are then instructed: “Housemates, make your way to the DVD section to begin your revelations.”

As footage begins playing for the group, reactions quickly follow. One Housemate responds: “It’s your opinion,” prompting another to insist: “It’s not facts.”

A further revelation leaves Twinks defending how the group has moved on from previous disputes, telling the others: “It’s all in the past, we’ve all figured it out and we don’t use nasty nicknames any more.”

With the Library continuing to expose conversations and opinions from inside the house, there could be plenty more uncomfortable moments before the task is over.

Rhianna discusses her relationship with Omar

Elsewhere, the episode turns its attention to Omar as Pauline takes him aside for a conversation in the Snug.

Pauline tells him: “Actually, I’m glad you came in.”

Omar immediately appears wary, responding: “Goodness me, I haven’t done anything wrong.”

Pauline reassures him before explaining why she wanted to speak to him, saying: “I feel like there’s more to you than meets the eye.”

Omar replies: “Course, we’re all multifaceted individuals.”

The conversation then becomes more pointed when Pauline says she has noticed the way Omar interacts with other Housemates.

She tells him: “You can do better.”

Omar is taken aback by the comment and asks: “I can do better? Goodness me.”

Pauline clarifies that she does not intend the remark as an attack, explaining: “This is no criticism. A lot of the time, it’s not what you say, it’s how you say it. Just take a moment sometimes.”

But Omar clearly takes issue with the suggestion that the way he speaks is causing problems.

He responds: “I’ve had the same b****s story my whole life. ‘How you say it.’ It’s not how I say it, bro, it’s just how I am. I speak how I want, I’ll say it how I want. ’Cause at the end of the day, bro, it’s not coming from a place of malice.”

Pauline then attempts to remind him that life inside the house is temporary, telling him: “This don’t last forever, this place.”

Omar, however, questions whether people would react differently to him if he changed his appearance and presentation.

He asks: “Half of the things I say, yeah? If I said it in a suit and tie and I had my hair slicked back, would you say the same?”

Pauline responds: “It’s not about that.”

Omar continues to challenge her point, saying: “Everyone says, ‘Hello boss, how are you? Hope you’ve had a good morning.’ But when fg Omar from up the road does it, fg hell, bruv. What’s wrong with the way I speak? So many people speak the way I speak.”

Pauline reassures him: “Nothing’s wrong with you.”

But Omar remains unconvinced, demanding: “Well, what the f**k is it then?”

The exchange leaves the pair facing a difficult question over whether Pauline’s advice will help Omar reflect on his behaviour or simply create another source of friction in the house.

Samuel exposes Philip’s opinion of Pauline

The drama does not end there.

Pauline later has another revealing conversation in the Snug, this time with Samuel, as she discusses a previous incident involving Philip.

She tells Samuel: “Basically, he didn’t actually know anything of what happened.”

Samuel suggests that Philip may nevertheless have formed a strong opinion, telling her: “Well, he has an opinion on it.”

Pauline points out that Philip was asleep when the incident took place, but Samuel maintains: “Well, he has an opinion on it though.”

Pauline is immediately curious and asks: “Has he shared that with you?”

Samuel explains: “I haven’t necessarily talked to him about it, but I do know he has an opinion on it. He was very vocal about it.”

Pauline then wants to know whether Philip’s view was positive or negative.

She asks: “In what way? Positive?”

Samuel’s answer is blunt: “Negative,” before revealing that Philip had described Pauline as “always sulking all the time.”

The revelation clearly catches Pauline off guard.

She asks: “Why didn’t he tell me then?”

Samuel replies: “Liar, pants on fire.”

Pauline is left disappointed by what she has heard, responding: “Oh Philip, that’s disappointing.”

The conversation raises the possibility of another confrontation, with Pauline now aware that Philip has apparently been expressing his views about her behind her back.

With the Library set to expose more secrets and several relationships already under pressure, Wednesday night’s Big Brother could prove to be another turbulent episode for the Housemates.

Big Brother continues tonight at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.
